Top priority work is which needs immediate attention. Important work can be described as work which doesn’t need immediate attention but it is important. And less important is the work which can be delayed a little longer. And Insignificant is which is of no importance like chatting with friends unnecessarily, roaming around with friends, parties, etc.

One of the ways to accomplish this task is make a to-do list, this way you can have undivided attention on your work.
- Don’t Procrastinate: Conquer your procrastinations, as it is of no help. When ever you are about to procrastinate, simply ask yourself “will it help if I do the work later”? It will bring you face to face with the challenge. You need to understand delaying will only add to your guilt but sooner or later you have to complete the task.
- Environment: Although every individual is different and so are their choices. Some like working while listening to music, other love to work in quite and calm rooms. Analyze your choice, which helps you to better concentrate.
- Make a Time Plan: A Time plan is very important as it will outline your day’s schedule. It will help you to list objectives, and roughly guide how to accomplish the task.
- Deep Breathing Exercise: Deep Breathing exercises not only help you to relieve stress, but also help to concentrate better. The simple ways of exercise is start breathing and count the number of inhales. After 10 or 20 inhales, start exhaling for the same number of times as inhaling.
- Take Short Breaks: Short breaks also help. Do something different which you have not been doing. It includes drinking water/tea in cafeteria, walk around, or any thing which relaxes you for sometime in a different environment.
